Permits that can’t skip a step
Approvals resolve from your org chart. Required courses gate the sign-off. Nothing gets approved by accident.
HSE management platform · built for SMK3
HESSA puts permits to work, incidents, risk assessments, SMK3 audits and training in one system. Approvals follow your org chart. Every record ends in a PDF an auditor will accept.
Built for Indonesian sites. English and Bahasa.
no owner · no status · no history
Course complete. Sign-off chain resolved from the org chart.
one record · owner, status, history
Approvals resolve from your org chart. Required courses gate the sign-off. Nothing gets approved by accident.
More than a form. An investigation, a root cause, corrective actions, an approval, and a number in the frequency rate.
All 12 elements, 44 clauses and 166 criteria, each citing its source regulation. Comply closes it. Not comply opens a corrective action.
The problem
Near-miss reports sit in a chat group. The permit binder is in the site office. The audit evidence lives in someone’s laptop.
Who owns it? Still in the group chat. No status, no follow-up.

Rows 14–22 blank. The version that circulated is called FINAL(3).
Handwritten, filed in the binder. Photo evidence: “see Budi’s phone”.
Training gate
You attach required courses to a permit. Until every applicant’s enrolment is complete, the approval is refused by the server. The system won’t let anyone click past it.
Contractors use a signed link. One permit, one applicant, about 24 hours.
Incidents · investigation
An investigation that points to a root cause, corrective actions that get signed, and an approval line that resolves itself. Here is one accident, start to finish.
SMK3 · PP No. 50/2012
Start an audit period and you get one schedule per element. A criterion marked Comply closes itself. Not comply opens a corrective action that goes through approval. Each criterion cites its source regulation.
Working at height, 6 m pipe rack. Consequence 1–5 × likelihood 1–5.
Risk assessment · hierarchy of controls
Every mitigation records which kind of control it is and rates the risk before and after. That makes the hierarchy of controls visible: PPE barely moves the risk. Elimination removes it.
Approvals · KPIs
Approval lines are defined from your org chart. Change the chart, the lines follow. No one types names into a form, and the full timeline stays on the record.
Records roll up into the numbers your board asks for: TRIFR, TRSR, lost-time cases, permit compliance.
The approval line resolves to this department’s head and the HSE manager. No one typed their names in.
Deployment
Training · records
Enrolments, course completions and quiz passes attach to the person, the permit and the audit. When a certification expires, the next permit for that person stops at the gate.
Plan a rollout with your own org chart, permit types and courses. Most teams are live in 2 to 4 weeks.
